Monsta usually anticipates that his current material will surpass the previous guess you can say his mentality is "out with the old, in with the new" by that being his motto he also likes to challenge his listeners and inspire other young artist to push themselves. Monsta KiD truly believes you're your own motivation, push, & drive; he also says that "if you don't pose key you can't get far, your either a blacksmith or conniving person that wants it easy" "without push there are no efforts" "without efforts there are no effects" the type of words that Monsta KiD speaks of.
Subtract The Anesthesia is the title & many have wonder why is it called that. Once again, Monsta KiD showing in deep-in-thought ideas from mixtape title to song 14. His purpose behind the title is that, when you take away comfort you intake pain without pain you can not progress "no pain, no gain" the pain can be a reminder of how you get pass an obstacle & live to tell a story. Every scar has it's own unique story it might of hurt either your pride or dignity but you can look back & say "I got pass that". Never feel afraid to grow or start something new that is in your confidence of succession. An aid can get us such far but it continues with yourself.
